#Honourpoint pays tribute to Capt Mandeep Singh, Nb Ris Narender Singh Rana, Naik Mithilesh Pathak, and Sowar Sohan Singh Solanki on their Balidan Diwas.

πŸ”οΈ Though the Kargil War had officially concluded, the Line of Control remained volatile. In the early hours of **06 August 1999**, heavily armed militants launched a surprise attack on the **4 Rashtriya Rifles** camp at **Chak Nutnusa village, Kupwara**, attempting to exploit the diversion of security forces deployed for the Amarnath Yatra.

βš”οΈ Leading from the front, **Capt Mandeep Singh**, the Company Commander, rallied his troops and mounted a fierce counter-assault despite the surprise attack. In the intense exchange of fire, he sustained a fatal gunshot wound while inspiring his men to fight on. Alongside him, **Nb Ris Narender Singh Rana, Naik Mithilesh Pathak, and Sowar Sohan Singh Solanki** displayed exemplary courage and made the supreme sacrifice while defending their camp and comrades.

πŸ•ŠοΈ Their unwavering courage, devotion to duty, and selfless sacrifice stand as a lasting tribute to the spirit of the Indian Army. They held their ground, protected their comrades, and gave their today for our tomorrow. Jai Hind!
